Nervous System Scan
The Technology Behind Your Care
At Adjustology, we don't take X-rays because a large part of our practice is made up of pregnant mamas and babies. These scans are the alternative that's actually better: they show us what's happening in your nervous system right now.
The three scans explained below each generate a score, which combine into your COREscore — essentially a report card of your health for how your nervous system is adapting to the world around you. Think of it as seeing your body's stress response, in real time.
We scan at your first visit, then periodically throughout your care. For wellness patients, about 3 times a year. Every 12 visits during a restoration plan. Every scan is a check-in: is your nervous system adapting? Are we focused on the right areas for you? If the scan doesn't show change, I know the body isn't shifting. That's the data that keeps your care truly personalized.
Measures how well your nervous system adapts to stress. It looks at your heart rate, skin temperatures, and your body's overall stress response. A healthy, balanced nervous system adapts easily. This shows us whether you're stuck in fight-or-flight or if your body has capacity to heal and recover.
HRV
Heart Rate Variability
Rolls up your spine measuring temperature on each side, from your sacrum to the base of your skull. Your skin temperature is controlled by your autonomic nervous system. This scan allows us to determine what organs + functions of your body may be affected, as well as the severity and chronicity of the stress.
Thermal
Rolling Thermography
Shows stress patterns in the muscles along your spine — the ones responsible for your posture, coordination, and balance. This tells us where your body is holding and storing stress, how much energy those muscles are using, and the compensation patterns your body has built up over time.
sEMG
Surface Electromyography
These three scan scores combine into your COREscore — a single number that gives us a picture of how your nervous system is functioning and adapting. Think of it as a report card of your health. It helps us build a care plan that's specific to you. Not a template. Not a guess. Your body, your data, your care.
